Introduction car-sharing concept

The advantage of car-sharing compared to regular car-rental is that you are able to rent cars on an hourly basis (as opposed to a daily basis) and you can simply open all cars with your individual membership card (rather than a key).

The idea is that many people can use the same car and therefore share the associated fixed costs. StudentCar takes care of the insurance, road taxes and maintenance of the cars. This means no expensive car inspections, repairs or other unforeseen costs for you.

On the other side, each member of a car-sharing community must follow certain codes of conduct in order for the car-sharing concept to succeed. StudentCar  enforced these policies by applying fines which applies for breaking codes of conduct.
