What to know before driving.

Yes, in only 3 simple steps you can drive off in a StudentCar! 

2. Go to your reserved vehicle at the time of your reservation and hold your Access Card against the card reader behind the windscreen to unlock the doors.

3. The key remains attached inside the car at all times. The car will only start if it is unlocked properly. During your trip, you can lock and unlock the car using your Access Card.  If you need to fuel, just use the fuel card inside the vehicle at any national gas station. The vehicle odometers are traced online and we receive an instant notification when more fuel is being taken out than necessary. If you are abroad, you have to pay the bill yourself and hand in the receipt to receive a refund.

That's it!

The only thing you have to remember is to return the reserved StudentCar at its designated parking spot (pick-up location). 

(At the end of the month, you will be simply charged for the hours you have reserved a StudentCar and the kilometers you have driven and if applicable the rate plan amount. An invoice with an overview of your costs will be sent to you by email and the amount is automatically deducted from your bank account.)
